Christina's Household is Hiring a LPN-Part time (Private in home) Near Greensburg, PA
Are you a nurse looking for a rewarding career where you can provide direct one-on-one patient care? Our family is currently looking for a part time caring, skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to care for our son for overnight weekend shifts! You will work in our home with our sweet lovable son who has complex health needs. The hiring agency is preferred home health, and the payrate is 30.00 per hour with nighttime shift differential. Being a germaphobe is a plus!
The shifts: Thursday 10:00 PM-8:00 AM and Friday & Saturday 10:45 PM-8:45 AM
Shifts are every other weekend with the option of every weekend. Shifts are flexible. Will work with your schedule
Job Duties:
- Be responsible for supervising and ensuring the individual's health and safety at all times
- Support the individual's goals and outcomes as outlined in their Individual Support Plan (ISP)
- Assist with personal care including brief changes, brushing teeth and dressing
- Communicate and document information accurately
- Create a safe and healthy environment for the individual
- Perform other assigned duties relevant to the individual
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening.
- Current license working as an LPN or RN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
